EECO GETS A CONTRACT TO BUILD SCHOOL CRASS ROOM AT NGAZI SEC SCHOOL

On 28 august 2012  EECO LTD signed a contract with  Mlalo ward  to build one class room of Ngazi secondary school  Mlalo Divison Lushoto Tanga Tanzania. The contrct is worthy 11,940,800.00 tshs. and expect to last 15.11.2012.The work is going on as shown in the pictures

John  taking the guest to the site and explained to the how the system works  showing the all the componets from gutter strainers,  first diversion unit , tank series and lastly at the domestic points . The tanks had collected about 300 ltrs hence water coul flow by gravity to the taps  as shown in the pictures below!

SHUKILAI PRIMARY SCHOOL CEREBRATE RAINWATER HARVESTING PROJECT HANDING OVER

It was 12 September 2012  when Nuru Women Group and contractor Eng. John Nshunju were  happy to hand over the rainwater harvesting system cum tap water connection  to the Shukilai school administration. The system  with capacity to hold 39m3 of water in the ferro-cement semi-underground tank , and  rainwater collection area of 208m2 and a first flush  diversion  unit of 0.3m3 was handed over to the school in the presence of  Lushoto District commissioner representative Ms Habiba  who  is ward executive officer for Lushoto ward. It was a jubilant day where pupils, their teacher and scool bard representative danced with joy over the events. poems , songs to praise the donors Arendal soloptimist Club, their partner Gjetum Ungdomssokolt, the project holder Nuru Women Group and the designer and contractor for the remarkable  well done  job! The project cost 9 million Tanzanian shillings  equivalent to 5625 USD
