EECO PREPARES TO INVITE INVESTORS IN BRIQUETTE BUSINESS

14-16 June 2012  EECO LTD MD was among  other participant from all parts of Tanzania  who registered for BID Network  Access to Sustainable  Energy challenge  who were called  for  3 day training at UDEC  in Dar  es Salaam. the training was   READY 4 FINANCE BUSINESS PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT. This would be followed by another training  leading to INVESTORS  to  access and  finance  the successful business. This stage needed  hard work with rating that can qualify one to go to another stage. Eco -briquette factory  business plan  by EECO LTD has reached   69%  less 1% to reach the stage! however the qualification to attend the training has been surpassed hence no worry the final stage is certain. The training READ 4 INVESTORS is due in two days time. EECO LTD participant is ready for that event !!

EECO EXIBITS DURING UHURU TOUCH(MWENGE)

8-7 July 2012, was a remarkable day when the  Tanzania  Uhuru Touch ( Mwenge wa Uhuru) was to be rallied  in  Lushoto  district. Having been invited  to color the event, EECO LTD was there to show  its products and services , the company does in  Lushoto. Engineer John  and  his colleague Godfrey Fidoline  was at Fumbai Primary School grounds  Soni  ward Lushoto Disrtict. The marketing message to the  rally leadrship was  MWENGE HIMIZA MATUMIZI  YA NISHATI MBADALA KULINDA MAZINGIRA

SHUKILA PRIMARY SCHOOL RWH SYSTEM READY TO OPERATE

EECO limited  has successfully finished the construction of 39 ltr  ferro cement  storage tank , a guttered  142 m2  of corrugated iron sheer collection roof , a first flush diversion unit, and two stand pipes  with 4 taps. This system is expected to serve 782   Shukilai primary school community  of whom  759 are pupils and are 23 teachers. The percentage  contribution to solve the real demand is only 11%. since the pupils are at school for only 5 days /week and teachers and non teaching staff are not residing  at the school, each person is guaranteed not less than 0.5 liter wholesome  safe drinking water  every day. The remaining water demand be from unsafe  Kibohero river water

EECO LTD PREPARES TO HAND OVER RAIN WATER HARVESTING PROJECTS

EECO LTD  has been working with two women NGOs  of Lushoto namely Nuru Women Group and Diana Empowerment  Women Group on rainwater harvesting projects  in   7 primary schools namely Lushoto, Mhero, Yoghoi, Ubiri , Kitopeni   Kizara and Shukirai. This was from 2009, to date  where  projects at Shukirai and  Kizara primary schools  are in the final stages of construction .  Three water  storage technologies are used so far. First is store in SIM tanks  of 5000 ltrs , secondly is storage  in ferro cement  semi underground tanks   varying sizes 30- 50,000 ltrs  and sand cement jars of 3000 ltrs full. the aim is to give the student community averaging 800 people per school safe drinking water  at least  3 ltr er day.
The donors  behind these project  are  Arendal soloptimist  club of Norway through different contributors including school pupils, and women  in Norway

EECO lTD has been designing the facilities as per school topography  but also exploring designs that will have tickling effect to the neighboring  community to learn and imitate accordingly .Average of  6000 USD per school is the cost for given facility.
